This month’s Foodies & Fellowship took place last night in Cornelius, which is north of Charlotte, at Fork!. This delicious farm to table restaurant had a very unique set up in a historical home with seating areas in each room. This is a perfect location on a nice day to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine on the wrap around patio.
Here are some of the reviews from attendees:
“Overall enjoyed Fork - was a little nervous when the salad came out and was real small...I ordered the lamb shank and that was huge!! The lobster mac and cheese was good but wish there would've been bigger lobster chunks...will def be back!”
“Perfect place for a date night.”
“The portions were just enough and my tummy is very satisfied. For the caliber of place and type of food, the pricing was reasonable. The conversations about food and several other things was very entertaining and it was great to hear about other places I should try locally and in other major cities. ”
“The swish chard, butternut squash and zucchini side dish was excellent! My salmon was also very tasty and perfectly cooked.”
“I thought the food was good and reasonably priced for it to be farm to table and a la carte. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the burre blanc sauce was great. The lobster mac and cheese could have used larger pieces of lobster but it was delicious and the portion size was right for the price. I like how the restaurant was small and quaint but I don't think that it's conducive for large parties. It's and great date spot though.”
“It was really nice, I definitely enjoyed it.”
“Thought it was a very quaint setting and a nice get away from most places in Charlotte. Food was well priced and really top notch compared to other restaurants I’ve been to. Would like to see more local beers on the menu but that’s a small gripe.
